Grammy: Jay Z é o músico mais nomeado de sempre

Prémios da indústria musical norte-americana vão ser entregues a 31 de janeiro. Jon Batiste, Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, H.E.R, Billie Eilish e Olivia Rodrigo estão entre os mais nomeados

O músico Jon Batiste poderá ser a grande surpresa dos Grammy, os prémios da indústria musical norte-americana, ao ter conseguido 11 nomeações para os prémios que serão entregues na noite de 31 de janeiro. 

Batiste, teclista veterano do jazz e diretor musical do programa “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert",  está nomeado nas categorias de disco do ano por “We Are” e de gravação do ano por “Freedom”, uma ode à cidade de Nova Orleães, mas também conseguiu nomeações nas categorias de R&B, jazz, música de raiz americana, clássica e videoclipe.

Com três nomeações para a cerimónia de 2022, Jay-Z tornou-se o artista mais nomeado na história dos Grammy: tem um total de 83 nomeações, ultrapassando Quincy Jones que "só" chegou às 80 indicações para os prémios. Até agora, Jay-Z já levou para casa 23 gramofones.

Com oito nomeações estão Justin Bieber, Doja Cat e H.E.R.

Billie Eilish e Olivia Rodrigo tiveram sete nomeações. 

A atriz de 18 anos é mesmo uma das grandes supresas do ano: Olivia Rodrigo, que lançou a sua carreira musical no início do ano com o sucesso “Drivers License”, está nomeada nas quatro categorias principais, conhecidas como “Big Four” - gravação do ano, disco do ano, música do ano e melhor novo artista.

Lil Nas X tem cinco nomeações e The Weeknd poderá ganhar três prémios. Taylor Swift tem só uma nomeação (mas é para disco do ano) e os populares BTS também só conseguiram uma nomeação.
