É também responsável pelo CNN Radar Internacional, um espaço dedicado à geopolítica com entrevistas semanais a especialistas estrangeiros.
Recentemente, foi moderador em debates nas últimas duas eleições legislativas e esteve em acontecimentos externos relevantes como a guerra na Ucrânia.
Licenciado em Comunicação Social e Cultural pela Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
Pós-graduação em Ciência Política e Relações Internacionais pela Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

João Póvoa Marinheiro is a journalist and anchor at CNN Portugal, currently hosting CNN Prime Time during the station's prime-time slot. He is also responsible for CNN Radar Internacional, a segment focused on geopolitics with weekly interviews featuring international experts.
Recently, he served as a moderator in debates during the last two legislative elections and covered significant international events such as the war in Ukraine.
He holds a degree in Social and Cultural Communication from the Catholic University of Portugal and a postgraduate degree in Political Science and International Relations from the Nova University of Lisbon.
